Today, is Day 83 of the Tiffany Johnson Creative #100daysartplay challenge. This week is all about inks. I've gone for a clean and simple look for this sympathy card.
I have used a paint brush to paint the background colour using three shades of Distress Oxide Inks. I have used Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar and Scattered Straw shades, randomly applied to the white background.
Using an off cut of white card, I die cut the flower stem. Sorry I'm not sure who makes the die. I then used a wet glue to stick into position.
I then stamped the Waffle Flower "Essential Sentiments" thinking of you greeting, using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I mounted the card on to a piece of soft grey coloured card and then on to a white card blank, before adding a few dots of white Ranger "Enamel Accents".
This is a simple design but very effective Sam with the pretty pink, yellow and blue ink painted background, and the lovely white die cut flower over the top. The white enamel accents and sentiment finish it beautifully. x
