It's Day 34 of the Tiffany Johnson Creative #100daysartplay challenge. This week is all about texture. My raindrops are coated in "Glossy Accents" to give a wet look.
For my piece, I used Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink with the Designs By Ryn "Waterdroplets CM-T3" rubber cling stamp.
Around the droplets, I used diluted "Lost Shadow" Distress Oxide Ink, applied with a paint brush.
For the actual droplets, I painted "Tumbled Glass "Distress Oxide Ink" so diluted with water that there was barely any colour.
Once dry, I mounted the painted piece on to grey and then white card. Finally, I applied Ranger "Glossy Accents" to the droplets to give a wet look/3D look to them.
Awesome card Sam, I have this stamp Designs By Ryn and love the way you used it, applying GA is a great idea xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Annie, it's an old stamp, but a good one x
DeleteI do remember these water droplets that Ryn did, so realistic and love the background of the grey and with the added Glossy Accents they will jump off the page Sam. x
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat x
