Today is Day 16 of Tiffany Johnson Creative #100daysartplay challenge. This week is all about using the "Palette Knife", which takes me totally out of my comfort zone!
Just to add to the discomfort, I decided to try out oil paints for the first time. I had a cheap set of Crelando Oil Paints from Lidl. I've never done anything with oils before, but I actually really enjoyed the randomness of the process. No idea if I've done it right or wrong, but I quite like the look of the finished scene.
well done and what an artist you are, I love this xx

DeleteI love the thickly laid paint Sam, I think they call it impasto, using a palette knife and you have used some pretty colours. To my eye it looks like fast moving water and some foliage and flowers at the edge of the bank, but whatever it is very pretty. x
