This morning, I have had a play with a new stencil from Clarity Stamps, making this card.
I started with a piece of water colour card. I spritzed both sides with water, then using a mop paint brush and "Saltwater Taffy" and "Pummice Stone" Distress Oxide Ink", I painted stripes of colour along the card, building up the colour. I then used the heat gun to dry the card completely.
I lay the Clarity Stamps "Curly Strip Stencil" over the coloured background and applied "Shadow Grey" Archival Ink through the stencil.
Next I lay the new Clarity Stamps "Three Blooms Stencil" over the background and used "Thistile" Archival Ink through the stencil using the two smaller flowers.
I mounted the card on to a piece of grey paper and then on to a white card blank.
I used Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink to stamp the "So proud of you" greeting, which is part of the Clarity "Congratulations Occasions Sentiment" stamp set.
Finally, I added touched of silver glitter gel pen to areas around the flowers and on the background for a bit of sparkle.
Two very pretty stencils Sam, and the deep red for the flowers over the grey swirls in the background go together beautifully, and I love the soft pink and more neutral toned stripes watercoloured beneath which are perfect, and some lovely added glitter gel pen too. x
