Well, I must be getting close to perfecting colouring pumpkins, I think this is card number four in a row! I really like how this one has turned out though.
For this card, I have used two of the recently released stamps from Sweet Poppy Stencils. I've used the "Pumpkin" and the "Pumpkin Vine" stamps, stamped in Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink and "Shady Lane" green ink. I coloured the stamped images with Derwent Inktense pencils, applied with a paint brush.
In the background, I have used "Shadow Grey" Ranger Archival Ink through the Sweet Poppy "Plaid Backplate Stencil" fading the ink out towards the top of the card.

DeleteThe plaid stencil inked in grey is a super background to the pumpkin and vine..a great card to welcome in autumn, though at the moment the heat belies the fact that it is on its way. x
