A late evening play session, I should really have waited till the morning to take the photograph as the lightling this evening really doesn't do the card any justice.
I started by stamping and heat embossing the Lavinia ""Forest Flowers" using Wow! Embossing "Rich Gold Super Fine" embossing powder. Once heat set, I moved on to the background.
I used the Lavinia Stamps "Tall Leaf Mask" with several shades of Ranger Archival Inks (Sky Blue, Garden Patina, Manganese Blue, Library Green and Majestic Violet).
I then used the Lavinia Stamps "Honeycomb Stencil" with "Sky Blue" Archival Ink around the edge of the leaf.
Next I used one of the Lavinia Stamps "Hill Masks" to create lines of colour around the leaf using a couple of shade of Ranger Archival Ink: Garden Patina and Manganese Blue".
In the top left of the card, I stamped teh "Just for you" sentiment, which is part of the Lavinia Stamps "Heartfelt Verse" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.
I added touches of colour to the flowers using a selection of coloured gel pens.
This is a very pretty leaf stencil Sam and I love the different colours you have used in the background and a great idea to use a hill mask to get the lines, and the gold embossed flowers coloured using different pens look wonderful. x
