I was tidying and sorting some of my stamps today and came across a box of Crafty Individuals stamps which I have not used close to a couple of years. They're lovely stamps and it was great to re-discover them. I decided to make a quick gift tag before bed time.
I stamped the image on to white card using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.
I coloured the stamped image using four shades of Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina, Dusty Concorde, Lost Shadow and Mowed Lawn), applied with a paint brush. I then added touches of yellow Posca Pen to the centre of the flower, adding highlights with a white gel pen and silver dots using a Unibal Signo pen.
I mounted the stamped area on to a piece of dark grey card and then on to a blank tag, finishing by threading a co-ordinating ribbon through the hole.
I would be tempted to use this beautiful floral tag as a book make Sam,it's gorgeous
ReplyDeleteOh, now there's an idea. I'll perhaps mention it to the person who will receive it x
