Father's Day is just around the corner. Sadly my Dad is no longer with us and I miss him every day. His favourite flower was the "Sweet Pea", so I decided to make a card for him regardless.
I have used the Sweet Poppy Stencils "Botanical Sweet Pea" stamp, stamped in second generation stamping using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink.
I coloured the image using Derwent Inktense pencils, applied with a brush and a white gel pen.
I used the Sweet Poppy "Hugs and Kisses" stamp, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, then finally added three white dots, using Ranger "Enamel Accents".
A beautiful card in memory of your dad Sam

DeleteThese are really pretty Sweet Peas Sam, and it's a beautiful card in memory of your Dad and some wonderful colouring with the gel pen highlights and love the added little white dots. My Dad died when I was forty and that's over thirty years ago now, but I think about him all the time. He loved to grow Sweet Peas, and he wasn't bad at arranging them in a vase quite artistically too. x
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat. I was also 40 when Dad passed, that was 18 years ago, but I think about him daily x
