Stampers Anonymous "Forest Floor CMS-422" Christmas Card

This evening, I made this Christmas card using stamps from two sets of Stampers Anonymous stamps.

The first thing I did to make this card, was to stamp the "Fir Cone Branch" in Versfine Clair "Acorn"brown ink.  I then stamped the image again on to a Post-it note and fussy cut around the image.

I positioned the post-it mask of the branch over the stamped image on the card, then stamped the pine tree branch in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink. Both stamps are part of the Stampers Anonymous "Forest Floor CMS-422" cling stamp set.

I used a wash of "Tumbled Glass" , light blue, Distress Oxide Ink and lightly coloured the area around the image.  I wafted my heat gun over the surface to accelerate the drying process.

Using Derwent Inktense wate colour pencils, I coloured the fir cones in using a paint brush.  I used the pencils themselves to colour the pine needles.

Using a white Posca Pen, I tapped it over the surface of the card to create the impression of snowflakes.

Once dry, I stamped the 'Merry Christmas" sentiment, which is part of the Stampers Anonymous "Mini Holidays CMS142" cling stamp set, stamping it in Versafine Clair "Pine Cone" ink,

Finally, I used a gold glimmer gel pen to add touches to the fir cones.
