Back to tagging along with Karen Telfers "24 Days of Tags 2022" challenge and this is my interpretation of her Day 18 tag. You can find Karen's tutorial on this link.
I splattered white paint on to the background of a kraft tag blank, tearing a section from a book for the background detail and stuck it to the tag. I used "Tea Dye" Distress Oxide Inks to colour the white leaves and then stuck them into position.
I used "Walnut Stain" Distress Oxide Ink around the edges of the tag.
In my box of stash, I found some small beige coloured flowers which I glued into position, adding white pearl sticky dots to their centres.
Using green and white Bakers Twine, I wrapped it around the tag, before tying into a bow.
So really all the elements on this tag are bits and bobs that I have rescued over the years and kept for that "just in case moment".
I found a couple of white paper roses with a wire stem. I wrapped the stems around a narrow paint brush to create the spiral and then slid it off the handle and glued them into position.
A very different style of tag for you Sam,love the vintage feel

DeleteI'm loving the more neutral tones Sam and the pretty added leaves with the touch of tea dye ink, and then the pretty little beige flowers which look great with the pearl centres, and also the wire stemmed roses, and finished brilliantly with the torn script, and bakers twine which are wonderful finishing touches. x
