I purchased some Dalston Mill Fabric cushion panels a couple of months ago, with a view to making them up in time for Christmas. The day here in Anglesey started off grey and rainy, so it seemed an ideal time to bring out the sewing machine and overlocker and make the cushion covers up.
The fabric is a loosed woven type, so I overlocked all the edges before construction so that there was less fraying. I bought the back panels at the same time I purchased the fronts. I used zips from my sewing stash as they were a good match.
These are beautiful Christmas cushions Sam, especially love the animal ones
ReplyDeleteThank you. Dalston have quite a few to choose from. I was spoilt for choice, but as we're having the grand children staying here at Christmas for the first time, I thought I'd better get panels to suit all x
DeleteOMG these are stunning Sam, love each one. I have not used my overlocker for year, it will be donated to my grand daughter. x
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Annie. Why don't you use it?
