Today, I have played with a new stamp set from Funky Fossil Designs called "Dreaming of Japan".
I especially liked the fish on this set, so it was an obvious choice to start making something with that stamp.
I started with a piece of dark blue card and used the Funky Fossil "Pebbles Stencil" with "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink. I then die cut a circle shape from the card.
On a piece of white card, I stamped the fish three times using Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I coloured the fish using white, black and orange Posca Pens and then cut them out, sticking them on the circle background.
On a piece of white card, I used "Weathered Wood" Distress Oxide inks throughthe Funky Fossil "Fish Background" stencil. Then mounted the circle onto the white stencilled card.
In the bottom right hand corner of the card, I stamped "Good Luck" using Versafine Clair "Warm Breeze" ink. I then added small gold dots using a gel pen, between the pebbles on the blue background.
You used beautiful colours on your koi carp Sam,they look stunning against your background
