As I had my Brusho paints out, I decided to simulate a recent card I saw made by the super talented "Eileen Godwin" using heat embossing and Brusho paint.
I heat embossed the Lavinia Stamps "Fairy Dandelions" stamp using Wow! clear embossing ink and powder.
I then sprinkled two shades of Brusho pain tgranules, (I used Gamboge and Prussian Blue), over the lightly spritzed surface and watched the colours develop and spread. Once dry, I added some splatters of white Posca Pen to break up some of the darker areas of blue.
What brilliant vivid colours around the dandelion Sam

DeleteThis looks fabulous Sam, you have cracked the Brusho technique..I always find targeting and getting them in specific places very difficult to do, and the embossed dandelion is perfect. x
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I think the trick is to put just a few granules of Brusho on, watch it react and then repeat the process till you're happy with the result. I do have one of those Tim Holtz air puffer things, which helps to send the ink in the direction you are wanting x
