Stampers Anonymous "Perspective" Butterfly Birthday Card

This is one of the August birthday cards I've made.

I used a small piece of card that I had used to mop up shades of pink ink from previous projects for the background of the central image.  I then stamped the large butterfly, from the Stampers Anonymous "Perspective" cling stamp set in Versafine Cliar "Purple Delight" ink, coated it in Wow! Clear embossing powder and then heat set.

Once dry and cooled, I used the Funky Fossil "Butterfly Background" stencil with "Picked Raspberry" Distress Oxide ink.

I then added touches of white Posca Pen to the butterfly wings and inked the edge of the square using the "Purple Delight" Versafine Clair Ink.

On a white card blank, I lay the Funky Fossil "Butterfly Background" stencil over the top and used "Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink though the stencil.

I added double sided sticky tape to the butterfly square and adhered on to the front of the card.

Finally, I used two sentiments from the Simon Says Stamps "Tiny Words Birthday" set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Purple Delight ink" to finish the card.
