Stampers Anonymous "Perspective" Tag

Today, I've been creating a tag.  It has a textural base and is embellished with Tim Holtz "Stampers Anonymous" stamped images.

For the base, I used three shades of Distress Oxide Inks:  Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn, in a sort of swooshing action, mopping up ink on my glass mat in a random way.  I heat set it and then added extra layers in the same way to build up the depth of colour.

Using a Stampers Anonymous (THMM108) stencil, I added some green circles using "Mowed Lawn" Distress Oxide Ink.

I then decided to add some texture, by using "That's Crafty" Sand Texture Paste through the small circles in the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous (THMM101) stencil at the top and the bottom of the tag in opposite corners.  I then set aside to dry.

Once dry, I decided to add further texture by using the same texture paste but adding some green acrylic paint to it and mixing the two together before putting through another Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous (THS004) stencil to create the green vertical lines over the textural dots.  I set aside to dry, it did take longer than the dots due to the paint I had mixed in.

I used a Stampers Anonymous stamp from their "Random Quotes" stamp set, stamped in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink, on the flat areas of the tag.

Using Versafine Clair "Blue Bell" I stamped the large butterfly from the Stampers Anonymous "Perspective" (CMS213) stamp set on to white card.  I did the same with a small butterfly/moth from the Stampers Anonymous "Little Things" stamp set.  I then ran the images through my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out the multiple images.

I coloured the insects with two shades of blue Distress Oxide inks:  Blueprint Sketch and "Tumbled Glass", adding a bit of sparkle with a silver glitter Signo Pen.

I then adhered the images on to the tag and added a sentiment using the Tim Holtz Idea-ology " "Small Talk" word stickers.
