Funky Fossil "Starfish Wishes" Tag

It's an ideal crafting day as the rain is lashing against the window today, not that I need an excuse.

I've made this tag with a beach theme using up a couple of bits and bobs I had hanging around from previous projects.

Starting with a cream coloured tag, I've used Distress Oxide Spray inks.  I've no idea what I've used on it as the scrap of paper has disappeared with the detail on it - I'd made it some months ago.  I then added some splatters of acrylic paint and white Posca Pen to add to the theme.

I stencilled the word "Ocean" using Paper Artsy "Caribbean Sea" chalk acrylic paint through the Funky Fossil "Beach Life" stencil.  As I had a bit of paint left over , I daubed it onto a piece of cardboard, then added some Paper Artsy "Snowflake" chalk acrylic paint to the edges of the cardboard, then adhered it to the tag.  I splattered more white paint by tapping a Posca Pen over the project.

On an off-cut of card, I blended some "Tattered Rose" Distress Oxide Ink then stamped the stafrish, part of the Funky Fossil "Starfish Wishes" stamp set in another Distress Oxide ink called "Rusty Hinge".  I added some dots of metallic gold pen along the spines of the starfish then adhered onto the tag.

Next I stamped the "Starfish Wishes" sentiment in Versafine Clair brown ink, cut it to size and adhered onto the tag.  Finally, I found some clear and green gem stones to adhere to the tag.
