Lavinia Stamps "Forest Temple" Card
Our four year old Grandson took a turn for the worse yesterday and was admitted to hospital. With the Corona Virus cases escalating daily, I've been terrified that if he hasn't got it he will pick it up in hospital, he falls into the "vulnerable"category. So of course, I couldn't sleep and was up at silly o' clock and decided to play with some of the new Lavinia Stamps.
I used a gelli plate background for the base, it was grey with emerald coloured Brusho splatters.
I stamped the new "Forest Temple" in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. In the background, I painted in some brickwork and then coloured the tree and the window using Distress Oxide Inks.
I stamped the "Fairy Barnacle" and coloured them using "Seedless Preserve" Distress Oxide Ink. Then stamped the "Creeping Vine" in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink.
I stamped the "Path" and then two of the new "Wild Hares" stamped in Versafine Clair "Pine Cone" brown ink. I then edged them with a white Posca Pen.
I added the "Berry Leaves" in the bottom right, stamped in Versafine Clair "Shady Lane" green ink.
I hope your grandson is improving Sam,you must all be so worried that he may come into contact with the virus whilst he is in hospital. You created a fabulous scene and card
ReplyDeleteThank you. He was allowed home, but he is back in hospital with respiratory issues. Just so worrying x
DeleteMy prayers will be with your sweet grandson and your family as he recovers. The odds are in his favor, please take some comfort in that if you can. You always make the most delightful Lavinia and Funky Fossil scenes, Sam, I am right now waiting for an order from FF thanks to you, hoping it gets to Texas soon. I will keep your family in prayer and please let us know his progress! XXO
