Lavinia Stamps February 2020 Hochanda TV show sample - Set 1
Lavinia Stamps will be appearing on Hochanda TV on Friday 7th February at mid-day and 3pm. Amanda Branston will be representing Lavinia, demonstating stamps, accessories and techniques.
The background of this card was a gelli plate image, created using Colorbox "Artichoke" ink brayered on to the plate with splatters of wet orange coloured Brusho which creates the mottled look.
I stamped the first "Druid's Inn" tree on the left hand side using Versafine Clair "Acorn" brown ink. I then stamped two further images on copy paper, which I cut around to create masks.
I covered the first tree with a mask and then stamped another tree to the side, covered that with the second mask and then stamped a third tree.
I coloured the trees with an assortment of Distress Oxide Inks (Mowed Lawn, Vintage Photo, Aged Mahogany and Ground Espresso). I coloured the stone steps to the door using a white Posca Pen.
I coloured the bottom right hand corner using "Broken China" Distress Oxide ink to create a pond feature.
I added leaves to the trees using two shades of Versafine Clair ink (Summertime, which is orange and Chianti a dark red shade of ink) and the "Berry Leaves".
I edged the card using Versafine Clair "Acorn" ink.
I stamped two fairies from the "Fairy Foragers" set, creating a stepping stone using a white Posca Pen for the fairy by the pond.
I added some foliage at the base of the card by the pond using the "Berry Leaves" with Versafine Clair "Verdant" and "Shady Lane".
