I have been very fortunate to have a play with the brand new stamp releases from Lavinia Stamps. There are ten new stamps in total and all of them are fabulous. This is a card that I have made with four of the stamps.
For this card, I used the gelli plate to create the background, brayering on two shades of Colorbox Inks (Mustard and Coral), splattering some wet Brusho paint onto the surface using a fan brush to create the mottled look.
I stamped all the images in Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink, starting with the "Dragon Verse" which reads
Dragon beast soaring high
Beating wings through the sky
Flames of fire blaze through the air
Red eyes watch you with a luring stare
These beasts of nature feared by many
some would agree it is but envy
Wild but timid their free spirits fly
Their sacred sould will never die
I then stamped "Ollar", he's the large one at the bottom of the card. Then one of the dragons from the "Dragon" set (top left) and finally the "Mideela small" stamp (top right)
have fallen in love with that verse stamp, what beautiful words, love your card
