A World Of Fantasty Fairies Card #laviniastamps
Last night I took poorly with a migraine and went to bed early evening. Today the remnants of it are still lurking, resulting in me looking at things through one eye - so not a good look. Anyway, instead of being sat on the sofa, I decided to make a card, with Lavinia Stamps of course!
I wanted to make something a bit brighter, so opted to use a yellow card for the background. I started by masking off the bottom two thirds of the card and positioning the first section of the circular Lavinia Stamps sentiment called "Spiral of Spells", removed the paper mask and then stamped the "Fairy Dust Silhouette" both stamped in Versafine Clair "Purple Delight".
I then stamped the leaves (it's from the "pound stamp" section o the site) around the edge in Versafine "Black Onyx" ink.
I used a cardboard mask to create the background landscape using Distress Inks, applied in layers. I then masked the area around the sun and filled the circle with a shade of orange Distress Ink.
I then stamped the small fairy, which is part of the "Fairy Foragers" collection of stamps, again stamped in Versafine Clair "Purple Delight". I stamped the "Snail" and the "Birds" in Versafine "Stormy Grey" ink. Finally, I added some sparkle to the fairies, the sun, the fairy dust and the snail by using a Signo silver glitter pen.
Your card brightened up a dull evening love the summer colours
