My head was a merry-go round of thoughts in the night, so I got very little sleep. I decided to get up and make the most of the extra time by making this sympathy card. Unfortunately, I seem to have reason for making several sympathy cards of late - a sure sign that I am getting older!
I used a sheet of patterned paper from a stack I purchased from The Range (I don't have the front cover to say what the stack was called, but I know it is made by Trimcraft and the reference on the back of the pack is FEPAD095) for the background of the card.
I then stuck a small decorative coaster/doily (from the Dovecraft Painted Blooms collection - DCDLS010) to the centre of the card.
I die cut a wreath in brown cardstock and also in an off cut of the feather patterned paper, using a die from the Stampin' Up "Swirly Scribbles Thinlits" set. Using the centre section of the wreath in the patterned paper, I stamped the sentiment using a stamp from a Stampin' Up set called "Hopeful Thoughts".I then cut the foliage in dark blue card (sorry, I don't recall who made those). After sticking everything down, I finally added a flower to the left hand side of the wreath.
