This tag was a struggle. Just as I was nearing completion of it, some ink bled which resulted in me cutting the offending area off and wondering what to do next as I'd already invested too much time on it.
Anyway, fresh eyes on it this morning meant that I was able to finish it. Not quite what I had originally intended but ok-ish!
The original area is the two flower heads and the script background (the script is a stamp from Oak House Studio). The flower is from the Stampers Anonymous "Mini Bouquet" set. which I coloured using watercolour pencils.
I prepared a Panpastel background in shades of purple, mauve & black then ran it through the Big Shot in a dotty embossing folder. I then stuck the original section to the top. This left and empty area on the bottom right hand side of the tag, so I stamped another flower, coloured it in and cut around it sticking it to the tag to fill the empty area.
So this is proof that not all items created run smoothly.

Yellow Poppy Card
I found out today that my friends celebrate their anniversary on Wednesday so got busy making a card.
On a piece of yellow cardstock, I stamped the poppy (Woodware ADS506 stamp) using a darker shade of ink. I then cut the images out and highlighted areas with tiny dots using my Promarker pens. I did the same for the stems and leaves.
I then ran a Stampin' Up embossing folder "Petal Burst" through the Big Shot to provide a textured background and positioned and glued the flowers. Once everything was adhered, I mounted the piece onto green cardstock.
Finally on a blank card, I stamped leaves in a random fashion using an Oak House Studio leaf stamp sticking the central decorative panel onto the card.

Week 13 - 52 Week Mini Art Card/Tag Challenge 2017
The prompt for Week 13 is "Favourite Colours".
Thinking about this, I have realised I have many favourite colour combinations, but nature reminded me of one particular favourite - shades of sunset, which I have attempted to replicate with this tag.
I used three shades of Panpastels, blended across the surface of the tag to create the background. I then used various foliage stamps from Stamper Anonymous "Mini Bouquet" stamp set to provide a silhouette feel.

A Happy Birthday (Music Sheet) Card
For this card, I used a copy of the music sheet for the "Happy Birthday" song. In two shades of green I stamped a leaf pattern using a stamp from Oak House Studio and one from the Stampin' Up set called "Vintage Leaves". I then mounted this on dark green cardstock.
I then cut various pieces of foliage using Stampin' Up "Botanical Builder" and "Leaflet Framelits". I used the Memorybox "Chloe Stem" seed head die and the Poppystamps "Lorelai Outline Leaf die. I layered some flowers, attaching them with a small brad.
I then assembled and glued the pieces into position, adding some adhesive pearls for interest.

A Congratulations Wedding/Engagement Card
This card is 8x8 so I was working totally out of my comfort zone, as I prefer to create smaller cards.
I used a piece of patterned paper for the background of this card. I then sprayed the back of the skeleton leaves with adhesive, sticking them to the patterned paper.
Using two dies from the Spellbinders "Decorative Fancy Diamonds" set I cut the decorative central panels, sticking the large one down. On the smaller one, I stamped "Congratulations" using a stamp from Stampin' Up "Flroal Phrases" set. I then elevated that by using sticky foam pads to add dimension.
Finally I added ribbon and sticky pearls.

Week 12 - 52 Week Mini Art Card/Tag Challenge 2017
The prompt for Week 12 is "Home".
"Home" means many things to many people. For my tag, I thought about my Hubby being "my home".
I started by blending some Panpastels to create the shaded background. I used one stamp set for the detail. It's by Papertrey Ink and is called "Love Lives Here" it is actually a stamp and die set.

A Cheery Birthday Card
As my paper off-cuts box is close to over flowing I thought I'd better use some of the pieces, which resulted in this cheery birthday card.
The sentiment is stamped using a stamp from Stampin' Up "Endless Birthday Wishes" set.

Spellbinders Swatch Thank You Card
I used a selection of patterned papers from the "Sail Away" paper stack (available from The Range).
I cut the patterned paper by using a Spellbinders die from their "Square Swatches" die set mounting them onto a piece of patterned paper in a 3x3 grid. I then die cut a ship's wheel and a couple of anchors (I think these dies came from a magazine some time ago). I finished the card by die cutting the word "Thanks" using a Stampin' Up die from their "Hello Thinlits set.

Daffodil Tag
The daffodils bobbing in the breeze on the grass verge today, inspired me to make this tag.
I used a Rubbadubbadoo daffodil stamp for the main image and a Crafters Companion script stamp for the background. The tag has been coloured with water colour pencils and the edges have been inked in various darker shades.

Floral Banner Birthday Card
This card evolved from something I was planning to make but just didn't gel, so in the end I played and ended up with this floral banner card.
The grey spotty paper is from the Stampin' Up "Carried Away Designer Paper" set. The orange and yellow cardstock used for the banner are off-cuts from previous projects but they have the texture of Bazzill Cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment onto the orange card using a stamp from the Papertrey Ink set called "Stylish Sentiment". I cut the two banner shapes using Stampin' Up "Banner Framelit" dies.
I used another Stampin' Up die from the Stampin' Up "Botanical Builder" framelit set to make the foliage garland. The layered the paper flowers, securing them with a brad in the centre.
Here's a close up look of the detail:

Week 11 - 52 Week Art Card/Tag Challenge 2017
The prompt for Week 11 is "Laugh/Laughter".
For my tag I took inspiration from a reputed quote by Audrey Hepburn where she said:
"I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I love mose to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person".
So using a spin on this, I have gone for "Laughter is the best medicine".
For the tag I started off with a piece of yellow cardstock cut into a tag shape. I then inked the edges using a shade of green.
Using a Memorybox Honeycomb die, I cut and adhered the lace to the yellow tag. I then cut the other shapes using Spellbinder dies layering and raising using foam pads to add dimension.
The two green ferns are die cuts from a Stampin' Up set "Botanical Builder Framelits". Finally, I printed the sentiment and die cut it into a circle.
If you are following and participating in this challenge I would love to see your creations. You can also find the blog on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ACraftingNiche/

Layered Die Cut Tag
For this tag I inked patterned paper. Using a Sixxiz die (Tim Holtz 661185) I cut the pattern in black card, layering it over the inked patterned paper. I then use two Memorybox dies (Isabella and Pippi) to cut the butterflies.

Week 10 - 52 Week Mini Art Card/Tag Challenge 2017
Week 10 already and the prompt is "Fashion".
For my tag, I went with a vintage theme of fashion. I firstly stamped a script detail in a light green which almost blends into the background. I then lightly inked the edges with three different shades of ink. I glued two pieces of vintage looking lace across the tag.
On a yellow/green coloured cardstock I stamped the glove, hat and boot (all from a Rubbadubbadoo stamp set called "Ladies Fashion" SNSDS-LF) in a sepia colour and cut around the stamped images, then added them to the tag.
For the floral embellishment on the top left hand corner, I first die cut the foliage in a green card then layered several petals securing with a pink brad. Finally I added the "Vogue" letters and the ribbon.
Don't forget, if you are following/taking part in this challenge, I would love to see your creations.

Guitar Card
I remember seeing a card on-line a while back, that inspired me to make this card for my son who plays guitar.
It was quite simple to assemble. The stamped sentiment is from the Papertrey Ink "Movers & Shakers Sentiment" collection. The most tricky bit was getting the strings (I used metallic thread) to stay in place before I could stick things down properly.
