Today I've made a birthday card, using Lavinia Stamps. I usually struggle making male cards, but I'm pleasantly pleased how this card turned out.
I used a background I had in my stash, that I made some time ago, using the gel plate, Pan Pastels and the Lavinia "Pebbles" stencil.
I stamped in various shades of Versafine Clair Inks using the following Lavinia Stamps:
- Pheasant
- Tree of courage
- Forest Spruce
- Foliage Set
- Small Branch
- Silhouette Grass
I used a Simon Says Stamp for the sentiments, part of their Tiny Words - Birthday set.
Finally, I used Posca Pens and a white gel pen to add highlights and detail.
The detail in your sky and foreground is amazing Sam a beautiful masculine card

DeleteThe background is perfect for your wonderful pheasant Sam, and I love the colours and the different foliage you have used together with the white gel pen highlights which finish it beautifully. x
