Today was an exciting post day as I received my order of six brand new 8x8" stencil from Lavinia Stamps.
I hadn't planned to play with them, as there are other things that I should be doing, but I couldn't help myself, making this card.
I've used "Zenith" mermaid as the main feature, heat embossed in silver Wow! Silver embossing powder. I then used the new "Charming" stencil with various shades of Distress oxide inks.
I used the Lavinia Stamps "Urchins", "Sea Bubbles", "Sea Algae" and "Zen Plant" for the undergrowth
The silver embossing powder makes the mermaids tail shimmer against the darker area of the background and the stencilled area is like the sun filtering through the water,love it
