Today is release day of some fabulous new goodies from "Funky Fossil Designs".
Here's one of the samples I have made using the "Weird Fish" stamp set on a Funky Fossil MDF Rope Frame.
I coated the MDF with white gesso. Once dry, I used Paperartsy Fresco Finish chalk acrylic paint in "Lake Wanaka" and "Jade" shades and set aside to dry. I coated the rope frame with metallic gold paint, applied with a dauber and left to dry too.
Whilst they were drying I unpacked my shopping and decided the green net bag holding some fruit would be ideal for this project to I rescued it and put it on my craft desk.
At the top, I used the Funky Fossil "Beach Life and "Sea Foam" stencil with the same Jade coloured Paperartsy paint, I used the Funky Fossil "Micro Dots" stencil with "Blush" pink paint, and the Funky Fossil "Make your mark III" stencil with Southern Skies" Paperartsy paint.
I also used the Funky Fossil "Under the sea" stencil with "Peach Nectar" Paper Artsty paint for the seaweed at the base. I used the Funky Fossil "Scenic Borders" stencil with "Slime" Paperartsy paint.
For the fish, I stamped them in Versafine Clair inks: Morning Mist, Warm Breeze and Blue Belle. I painted the large one with shades of Distress Oxide Inks and for the smaller ones, I used Signo glitter pens.
Across the middle of the circle, I twisted the green fruit netting, adhering it with silicon glue. I then secured the decorative rope edge detail. I added the fussy cut fish, beads, shells and a little metal starfish embellishment.
Love this layout Sam the fish and your embellishments are beautiful
