Visible Image "Mr Bone Jangles" through "Breaking Glass"
This evening, for some reason I have created a very dark piece, more suited as a Halloween make rather than Spring! It wasn't planned, but came about by pulling some stamps and stencils out I've not used before.
I started by stamping the skull from the Visible Image "Mr Bone Jangles" stamp set in Versafine Clair "Morning Mist" grey ink. I gave it a quick coat of "Antique Linen" Distress Oxide ink, I then covered the area with "Drawing Gum".
I Used several shades of Distress Oxide inks through the Visible Image "Breaking Glass" stencil. I lifted the stencil and rubbed off the "Drawing Gum".
I filled in the wide white lines of the cracked glass using a black Sharpie marker pen, I then edged the black with a white edge using a Posca Pen. I added a little sparkle to the broken glass by drawing fine lines in a silver glitter Signo pen to create further cracks in the glass.
Finally, I added two word stickers for the sentiment of "I'm Happiest When I'm With You' using Tim Holtz "Small Talk" word sticker.
