Today I have played with the "Devil On The Rocks" stamp that I used yesterday making this card (produced by Forget Me Not)
I started by using Distress Inks to create the background colour. In the middle I used "Candied Apple" then worked my way out using the following shades. Wilted Violet, Blue Print Sketch and Chipped Sapphire.
I then used an Andy Skinner "Tornado" stencil spritzed with water and then laid on top of the Distress Ink background. The area where the water hits the page gets a kind of bleached, lighter look to it. You may need to lightly dab and settled areas of water with the edge of a kitchen towel.
Once the background was dry, I stamped the devil image using Versafine Clair "Nocturne" ink. I extended the rock image by using a black Sharpie pen. I then added some highlight areas to the devil by using a white Signo Pen.
Finally, I typed and printed out the sentiment on grey paper (the font I used is "American Typewriter" in the size of 18). I then cut it into words and then mounted onto black cardstock and adhered to the card itself.
the "fire" colours and sentiment are perfect with the image Samantha, brilliant make
