Week 6 - 52 Week Mini Art Card / Tag Challenge 2019

The prompt for Week 6 is "Wild Animals".

For my tag, I decided to go for more of an African theme of wild animals.  I started by making a coloured background of Distress Oxide Ink  in  Fossilised Amber, Carved Pumpkin and Spiced Marmalade.

Using an animal print stencil by Sweet Poppy, I coloured in the central panel of the tag using a Distress Ink in "Rusty Hinge" colour.  Using a striped animal print stencil, also by Sweet Poppy, I masked off the middle area and coloured in the stripes using a Distress ink in the shade of "Ground Espresso".  I then inked the edges of the tag in both dark red and black ink.

I stamped the sentiment (Darkroom Door Wild Africa Vol 1 stamp set) in Versafine "Black Onyx" ink.  I then stamped the trees and the giraffe images in the same ink, these are part of a Darkroom Door Set called "African Trees".
